INTERNATIONAL COSMETOLOGIST & COSMETOLOGY EDUCATOR LICENSED IN NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA & FLORIDA

Born in the island of Trinidad & Tobago of a bi-racial family, with two different cultural backgrounds and geographical locations, our CEO of Corporations offers a personality and exercises communications effectively due to her ability to relate to several ethnic backgrounds and languages. 

   She started her career at a young age whilst in college and managed to successfully complete 2 years at Cosmetology in 1200 hours, Barber School for 7 months and Advanced Courses in Trichology, Esthetics with a college Associate Degree in Business. Her devotion towards the Beauty Industry began with her decision to start her own Salon business in 1998.

She opened the first Beauty School in her City of Trinidad in 2000 and went on to become the official Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist to contestants of the Miss Point Fortin Beauty Pageant for several years. By her works in the city, she was honored by the Mayor then, Mr. Clyde Paul, an Achievement Award and also received an appointment as an Ambassador of the City.

This nomination from the Mayor gave her a momentum to expand an opportunity in expanding her Salon towards a Cosmetology School. 

   In the year of 2000, she opened the first Beauty School in Point Fortin, Trinidad. Her school expanded to two locations in Trinidad, being Point Fortin City and San Fernando City, that gave her acknowledgement from the University of The West Indies in that year. A partnership began with the UWI Campuses of Trinidad and Tobago, where she collaborated her own Beauty School curriculum to start the first Cosmetology Diploma Programs at the Open Campus in Point Fortin City. She worked as a Seasonal Senior Cosmetology and Business Management Educator and Director of Cosmetology Examinations, for the University of the West Indies whilst running her own Beauty School in Trinidad and managing a Salon in New York over a 14 year period. Her Salon in New York City was opened in the year of 2017.

  She conducted several Beauty Shows and One-day Workshops in 9 Caribbean countries at all University of the West Indies Campus and a few in the State of New York.

    In 2017 she ran her Salon on 42nd street 2nd Avenue New York, near the United Nations which gave her exposure to International Diplomats where she worked as a Trichologist, Hair colorist, Makeup Artist, Nail Technician and Esthetician. Her business was also renamed in 2017 transforming to BEAUTY BOOKINGS INTERNATIONAL LLC. as the new brand identity. In 2018 she merged  her Beauty Education services with Christine Valmy Teaching and conducting NYS Board Practical Exam Training and Examinations at the Times Square New York location. She has been with Christine Valmy for 5 years and she is proud to work with a company that are  the originators of Beauty Education in the United States for Hybrid Curriculum which she worked with them to develop during Covid in the year of 2020. In 2023 she partnered with The Beauty Institute in Teaching Cosmetology and Nail Programs at 3 of their locations in 3 Cities of Pennsylvania.

    In 2019 she founded the birth of BBI CONFERENCES OF NEW YORK LLC. which is a direct by-product of her 20 plus years of holding Beauty Conferences and Workshops in the United States and the Caribbean. She was also the first Black woman to hold a public Beauty Educational Conference at Broadway New York, at the BBI Conference Room location in Times Square on September 30th 2020.

   On the same day she released her first line of BBI BEAUTY PRODUCTS from her third Corporation, BBI BEAUTY SHOP. From the success since the Launch of the MINK LASH Product she called "BBI THICKUMS" she decided to go all the way in the Beauty Product Retail Industry with the Launch of other Cosmetics such as Body Care Bath Products, Skin Care Products, Nail Care Products, Hair Care Products and Makeup Products.

  Retail was never new to her since she had been developing her own Hair Color Formulas and Hair Treatment products in the salon for over 15 years prior to starting BBI BEAUTY SHOP.

   Today, our CEO continues to lecture STATE BOARD PROCEDURES to anyone seeking to undergo Licensure with the State Departments of New York, where she is a Licensed New York State Lecturer and Examiner. She offers Classes on discounted and affordable prices on Groupon and her salon services are offered on Groupon and ClassPass. 

   Today she also continues to work with Beauty Schools educating students in the US in departments of Cosmetology and also trains students seeking a License from New York State Board Exams, not to mention being an Executive Model Ambassador for her own line of BBI Beauty Products, lecturing Advanced Cosmetology classes in her own Corporation and training others to teach in her corporation from around the world.

   With her own line of Beauty Products, she is set to about to open BBI BEAUTY's first physical store location in New York this Fall.

   She continues to elevate in her career by standing on 1 word, CONSISTENCY. Her goal is to make BBI one of the most reputable, reliable and accessible resource for Beauty Education Worldwide, with a Team of Staff that are as motivated, driven, career goal-oriented and passionate as she has always been, to set a standard for us all in the Beauty Industry.
